We would like to thank the parents that helped us run activities at Øverby on 26th February. It was a great day out for everyone. You can find a few photos from the day on our Facebook page.

 


New Teachers 

We are pleased to inform you that we have two new teachers.

Mr. Espen Øye Bjørkvold will teach English to Grade 5 and Norwegian to all grade levels. Mr. Bjørkvold is an experienced teacher, who some of our students are already falimiar with from their previous school.

Ms. Siri Hjelsvold will teach ICT to all grade levels. Ms. Hjelsvold completed the IB Diploma Programme at Gjøvik VGS and went on to study for a bachelor’s degree at the university of St. Andrews in the UK.

Scholastic Book Club

Our new Scholastic Book Club is up and running!

Click here to browse the latest books and order online. For every €1 you spend on this month’s Book Club, our school will earn 20¢ in Scholastic Rewards.
Please place your order online by March 11th, 2016.

Homework
According to our homework policy, students do not receive any assignments for holidays. In order to avoid confusion during the two weeks between our winter break and Easter, there will be no homework this or next week.
This Week’s ProjectTomorrow, we will have another art project with Art Olson.

Grade 5 Trip to Public Library
Grade 5 students have been invited to attend a presentation by Vera Micaelsen, a famous Norwegian author and TV presenter on 14th March at the Public Library. The students should come to the school by 8:30AM as usual and will walk to the library from here.
